Closet Confidential: How to pick a men's shirt

I adore Men's Shirts - they are incredibly practical. Wear them casual with a pair of skinny jeans, belted to the beach, or simple to bed. In my opinion white or light blue is the most easily convertible, as they don't scream masculinity, as well as being sophisticated, sharp and clean.

There are a few things you have to learn about picking the proper men's shirt however.

You are not allowed to buy cheap/bad quality. I'm not saying they absolutely have to be Ralph Lauren, Tom Ford or from Savile Row, but if you opt for Target you WILL look like you are on a walk of shame.

Different situations call for different materials (for the beach something light is nice, like linen or thin cotton; for bed I like starched shirts), but the characteristics each shirt absolutely has to have are:
- long sleeves
- wider spread collar
- subtle stiches
- nice buttons
- breast pocket

Wear with lacy underwear and you'll feel extra sexy.

Enjoy.
